This event was the catalyst on forming the foundation. We have just completed the 7th Annual Legend for Lights Pheasant Jamboree this past October (2007).
With the endless help of our surrounding communities, this has been a truly astonishing event. It is hosted by the Northern Lights Athletic &
Scholarship Foundation on the opening weekend of pheasant season. This annual weekend event highlights dedicated “Legends” from the National Football League,
National Hockey League, National Baseball League, and many collegiate stars as well.
A two day hunt, where we match Legends with local Hosts and Huntsman, on some of the finest hunting areas around, a trap-shoot, and social events are
sponsored by individuals, small businesses, and corporations. With this sponsorship is the opportunity to hunt with your team along with a host,
huntsman (persons who supply hunting dogs), and a legend. We limit the number of teams each year, so it is advised that interested individuals be
registered promptly after the dates are announced.
